Young Guns Youth Ministry

New youth club, meeting Saturday afternoons at 4:30 pm for kids K-12!

Steve & Lori Pernice are excited to head it up and have great ideas for outreach and team building within the group.

The curriculum will be from the book "How Should a Christian Live?" with discussion topics:

• Learning how to live in God’s Kingdom,
• How we are influenced by TV programs, words to songs on the radio, video games, friends & movies,
• How to speak up for God and stand strong in situations.

Special monthly activities relating to particular holidays are also in the works:

Thanksgiving party with emphasis on giving,
Caroling at a nursing home followed by a Christmas party, or
Making and distributing Valentine’s for nursing home residents, etc....

The Young Guns ministry also wants to do additional activities:

• Movie nights at Ransomed Heart Ranch, or hayrides and bonfires.
• Starting a pen pal program with the Open Range Native American Outreach mission where we support missionaries.
• Possibly communicate with more kids from other cowboy churches...

Currently we plan on serving any school age kid from K-12. If anyone has younger siblings or other little ones wanting to attend, we’ll welcome them only with a parent staying too, not the older sibling in charge of watching them (we don’t want this to turn into babysitting, as it won’t be fair to the other kids).

So come join the fun at RHR: Saturdays at 4:30 pm.
